Precious Time (Ladies Conference)

The ‘Precious Time’ ladies conference booking forms are out, see Sue if you need another one. 50 places are already booked up, and it would be great to see many of ‘our girls’ there. A whole day of fun and friendship, and also a lovely lunch together. The Event is on Saturday, November 12th.
What’s fabulous about this conference is…….…there’s no travelling or overnight accommodation needed! It’s in the Rhondda !!

Oasis Fun Day Out

Saturday, October 8th. 10 am – 3 pm. Face painting, Jewellery Stand, Bouncy Castle and lots more. Volunteers needed, new ideas – see Lynette. There will be a meeting to discuss this after Sunday morning service today (Sept 11th).

The Elim Sound Roadshow are coming to Cardiff City Temple on Saturday, October 14th. There will be a special gathering for worship leaders at 4 pm followed by the concert at 7.30. The cost for entry is £5. Best to book in advance – see Susan.

This year’s XCEL Men’s Conference at the Abundant Life Centre will be on November 18th-19th. The guest speaker is Dino Rizzo.
Dino is the founding pastor of Healing Place Church, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA. The money raised on the sponsored walk (so far), including tax refund on gift aid donations, totals £923.96. The Ablaze Youth held a sponsored stay-awake which raised £185.50. This added to last year’s total of £2617.80 makes for a grand total of £3727.26.

19-20 November 2010 Abundant Life Church Bradford.
Bookings need to be made as soon as possible. Conference is £35 and we will be staying in Bradford for 2 nights at approx £60 per person.

No Trailblazers or ABLAZE next week…

There will be no Trailblazers or ABLAZE next Friday (2nd April) because it’s Good Friday. Both will be open as usual the following week (9th April).
Both clubs are going well; in the past 3 months we’ve seen over 20 youth and in excess of 50 different children!
