The ‘Precious Time’ ladies conference booking forms are out, see Sue if you need another one. 50 places are already booked up, and it would be great to see many of ‘our girls’ there. A whole day of fun and friendship, and also a lovely lunch together. The Event is on Saturday, November 12th.
What’s fabulous about this conference is…….…there’s no travelling or overnight accommodation needed! It’s in the Rhondda !!

The Elim Sound Roadshow are coming to Cardiff City Temple on Saturday, October 14th. There will be a special gathering for worship leaders at 4 pm followed by the concert at 7.30. The cost for entry is £5. Best to book in advance – see Susan.

The money raised on the sponsored walk (so far), including tax refund on gift aid donations, totals £923.96. The Ablaze Youth held a sponsored stay-awake which raised £185.50. This added to last year’s total of £2617.80 makes for a grand total of £3727.26.

If you haven’t already heard… as of March the 7th Oasis Church will be launching an evening service! The morning service will continue as normal at 10:30, this will be a service for all the family. The new evening service at 6:00 will be a service for those who really want to dive into God’s presence, a meeting for those who are hungry for more of God and really want to have an encounter with the king of eternity.

Oasis have our very own ‘Mothers Day Service at 10.30am, on March 14th 2010. We have a friendly family atmosphere at Oasis, and understand mothers day can be painful and joyous at the same time. It is good to celebrate how important mothers and grandmothers are in family life, and to remember mothers/grandmothers who are sadly no longer with us. The speaker will be one of the leaders of Oasis, Lynette Matthews and the service will include a light drama, the lovely voices of children singing from the trailblazers group, and our fabulous puppet team making us laugh and getting us to join in the fun.
